MISUMI offers positioning stages with either increased precision or in a standard version.
The standard precision xy tables are designed for applications in the field of assembly automation with slightly lower requirements. They are suitable as setting elements for the assembly of measuring instruments and testing equipment, among other things.
High precision positioning stages are more appropriate for optical applications. A price advantage of 20-50% has been achieved for the standard positioning stages through streamlining the functionality and the grade of precision.

The xy tables are available in X-, Y-, Z-, X/Y-, X/Y/Z axis versions for purely linear tasks, and as goniometers, tilt-, rotation-, round- and swivel tables for rotary tasks. For rotary movements, the decisive difference is the theoretical position of the swivel axis, which can be outside of the xy table. Shaft guidance, dovetail, ball guide bushings and cross roller guides are used as the guiding system.
The actuating mechanisms are feed screws with standard thread, fine thread, micrometer heads and rack and pinion drive. The actuating mechanisms can, in part, be defined by the client.
Height-adjustable xy tables come in a range of versions such as swivel lever, scissor and helicoidal. The xy tables are made from aluminium, brass and stainless steel.
The configurable xy tables from MISUMI allow the different segments of an individual table to be defined by the client themselves e.g. with digital micrometer heads.
Travel paths from ±1,7mm to ±140mm are possible for xy tables with linear movements. The highest load capacity is 1176 N.
