Registration with MISUMI

Any officially registered company, any trader, as well as educational institutions, can register as a "Corporate User". This registration is a prerequisite for ordering or requesting quotations from MISUMI.

Details on how to register can be found here. Once you have registered and confirmed the activation link in the e-mail, you will receive a message from us confirming your registration. Please note that this can take up to half a working day. Your registration is now complete and you can log in, order, create quotes and use all other functions in the My MISUMI customer portal. When registering as a "CAD user", you enter your personal and company data, accept the GTCs and submit the registration. Now you can immediately download CAD data, but as a CAD user you cannot create orders or request quotations.

I forgot my password or login ID. How can I get a new one?

Click on "Login/Registration" in the top right corner on the homepage. Below the blue "Login" button, you will find "Forgotten you password?". Enter your login ID or e-mail. You will receive an e-mail with instruction on how you can create a new password.

Who can register with MISUMI?

Any officially registered company, any trader, as well as educational institutions, can register as a "Corporate User" with MISUMI. This registration is a prerequisite for ordering from MISUMI or requesting quotations. Since MISUMI is purely a B2B company (Business to Business), it is not possible to register as a private customer. When you register as a CAD user, you do not have to have a trade. As a "CAD user", you can view and download CAD files, but cannot order or request quotations.

How do I register with MISUMI?

Any officially registered company, any trader, as well as educational institutions, can register as a "Corporate User" with MISUMI:

  • Enter your personal details.
  • Now enter your company data and check your data in the next step and submit the registration.
  • Confirm the activation link you will receive by e-mail.

Your registration will now be checked, and we will contact you if we have any further questions. Your will receive an e-mail when your registration is complete. You can log in and use all the features of the account.

As a CAD user you can also register without a business. Enter your personal and company data and send the registration. Now you can download CAD data. Ordering or requesting quotations is not possible as a CAD user. You can view and download CAD files, but cannot order or request quotations.

How do I change my billing address or add a shipping address?

If you need an additional delivery address for your order, or if the billing address has changed, proceed as follows:

  • Log in to the My MISUMI customer portal.
  • Click on "Change company information" under User settings.
  • Fill in the form and send it to us.

After checking the adresses will be added to your account or changed in your account. If you have registered an additional delivery address with us, you can change it online directly during the order process. Address changes must be requested before placing an order/submitting a quotation request. Only when you see and select the changes or the added delivery addresses during the order process online we can guarantee that this information will be correctly transferred to the order/enquiry.

The name of my company has changed, how can I change the master data?

If the name of your company has changed we need an official company announcement letter with all information regarding the renaming of the company:

  • Log in to the My MISUMI
  • Go to Help Center
  • Select Account Information/User Data > Documents
  • Fill out the form and send it to us with an attachment.

If the renaming entails a new VAT number, register a new corporate account.

My company has moved to a different address, how can I change the master data?

If your address has changed just do the following:

  • Log in to the My MISUMI
  • Click on "Change company information" under User settings.
  • Fill in the form and send it to us.

The address will then be changed and you can find the new adress in your account.

How can I upgrade my CAD user account to a corporate account?

To convert your CAD user account into a Corporate User account, click here.

  • Fill in the form with your company details and submit the form
  • After submitting the form, confirm the activation link you will receive by e-mail
  • Your request will be checked and you will receive a confirmation e-mail once your upgrade to Corporate Account is complete

Now you can log in, use all the features of the account, place orders and request quotations.

Can I enter an additional billing address with the same Customer Code in my account?

It is currently not possible to add several billing addresses under one existing customer code. If you want to register different billing addresses, a separate corporate account must be created for each address (with different MISUMI customer codes). If you have registered several corporate accounts, it is important to ensure that you place orders via the correct account. It is not possible to change the billing address after you have placed the order.

An error message appears during registration, what can I do?

In this case, please write to registration@misumi-europe.com, outlining the issue you have encountered. A colleague will then be in touch to resolve the issue.
