[Features]
-Demonstrates high performance when machining general steel, EN 1.4301 Equiv. (sintered) and heat-treated steel (up to 50 HRC)
-Adopting the 3-flank shape, it is resistant to chatter,
-The unique shape of the chip groove enables flute cutting with a depth of cut equivalent to that of a 2-flute tool
-This product has an average cutting edge length between TSC-HEM3S (short cutting edge length) and TSC-HEM3R (normal cutting edge length), hence it is called "SR Cutting Edge Length. "
-Compared to square cutters with 30° helix angle, both rotation and feed are more than twice as fast
-The 45° helix angle makes it ideal for high-speed machining compared to general-purpose cutters with 30° helix angle
It has a coating with high oxidation resistance and high hardness, and achieves long service life. Effective in high-speed machining and dry machining as coating characteristics.

More Information


● Has a new TS film coating with much greater oxidation resistance and hardness than conventional films, yielding a longer operational life and ideal for high-speed machining / dry machining.
● Has a 3-flute shape to be strong against chatter and is capable of stepless grooving.
● The unique tip pocket shape allows for the cutting of grooves to be achieved with 2 flutes in parallel at the cutting depth.
● The product is considered to have an "SR blade length," as the blade length is between that of TSC-HEM3S (short blade length) and TSC-HEM3R (regular blade length).
● Compared to 30° twisted square end mills, both rotation and feed capacity are more than double for higher speed machining.
