Supporting Block
Used to prevent unsteadiness or misalignment of the workpiece. Supports accurate remote operation when placed under the workpiece where hands cannot reach. The supporting part is fixed by turning the handle. Setting it to a required location and loosening the handle part will raise the support part by the force of the spring, and a screw, rest nut, rest plate, align pad or the like can be attached to the tip of the support.
