DC/DC Power Supply Modules
DC/DC power supply modules are devices that convert direct current voltage to another direct current voltage. They are also one of the representative types of power supply modules. Among the power supply modules with built-in power supply circuits, DC/DC power supply modules feature a DC/DC converter IC needed for power supply circuits, as well as passive components such as coils and capacitors, housed in a single package. Because many of the components are built in, they do not require many external components, allowing the power supply circuit to be built easily. The packaged format gives the power supply circuit a space-saving advantage, while high-density mounting helps suppress EMI noise. Applications range variously, including fields such as home electronics, industrial devices, mobile devices and wearable tech.
