Measuring Devices

Measuring instruments are instruments used to take measurements. They refer to instruments that combine several functionalities to measure machinery. They include scales, vernier calipers, height gauges, and more. Instruments with motorized components are also included, such as micrometers and CNC video measuring systems, designed with considerably more compact sizing in recent years. They are used in R&D, prototype evaluation, pre-shipment inspection, first article inspection, etc., to measure pressure levels, balance and distribution, or to compare the external surface roughness of a cylinder against a reference standard, and more. Measuring instruments are designed with different graduations and for different measuring environments and objects to be measured, such as hard materials such as metals and ceramics or softer materials such as composite resin, and must be selected according to application.
