More Information

Basic information

Stainless steel valve U Series. For general purpose and construction equipment.

[Features]
· General piping stainless steel pipe (JIS G3448) and industrial water supply stainless steel pipe (JWWA G115)—used for stainless steel piping in construction facilities—have the following features.
· Three times the tensile strength of copper pipe, and two times the tensile strength of steel pipe.
· The lightweight body material has a thickness of approx. 1/3 to 1/2 the thickness of steel pipe with superior mechanical strength and corrosion resistance.
· No reduction in the flow area due to tuberculation due to smooth inner surface. This valve has excellent cavitation resistance resulting in improved flow rates
· The thermal expansion coefficient is similar to copper pipe and about 1.5 times that of steel pipe. Thermal conductivity must be taken into consideration due to poor expansion and contraction at 1/24 that of copper pipe and 1/4 that of steel pipe. Therefore, care is required during welding and brazing.
· Heat loss is slightly less than steel pipe.
· Screw coupling is not possible due to the thin wall connection area.
· Mechanical type fittings or butt welding is used for small diameter pipes.
· Flange connection, weld joining, or housing type joints are used for pipes with medium or larger sized diameters.
