Force, acceleration and displacement devices measure the motion of objects. Physical amounts are converted by sensors into signals that can be handled by machines and detected. Some types are compact and lightweight with excellent static and dynamic characteristics, and can detect simultaneously in the x, y and z directions. A force sensor can be used to monitor the crimping force of cable terminals and the axial force of bolt tightening. Some types are compact yet can measure large loads.
