The DLC coating has excellent wear resistance and deposition resistant properties that make it ideal for machining aluminum.
It adopts a sharp cutting edge that prevents the built-up edge that is unique to aluminum.
The corners of the blade tip are slightly rounded to prevent chipping when cutting.
Shank relief makes it suitable also in cases where tool interference may be an issue.
The rounded edge of the blade rear end suppresses machining streaks caused by the multi-stage machining of side surfaces.
