Das Handling (Ergreifen, Bewegen und Ablegen) und die Prozesszuführung von Bauteilen, in diesem Beispiel das B-Säulen Gurt- und Säulenblech, erfolgt über einen Greifer, der mittels pneumatischer Spanner Bauteile ergreifen und ablegen kann. In Kombination mit Positionierstiften sowie Kontursteinen/NC-Blöcken (NAAMS) wird eine exakte und zuverlässige Positionierung sichert. Weniger genaue Positionierungen können auch mittels Vakuumsaugnäpfen durchführt werden. Sensoren erfassen, ob sich ein Bauteil im Greifer befindet und ob dieses in der richtigen Position sitz.
