Handling (picking, moving and placing) and process feeding of components, in this case the B-column belt and column panel, is done via gripper, which can pick and place components using a pneumatic clamping device. An exact and reliable positioning is ensured in combination with positioning pins as well as contour blocks/NC blocks (NAAMS). A less accurate positioning can also be performed using vacuum suction cups. Sensors detect whether a component is located in the gripper and whether it is in the correct position.
