The component, such as a B-pillar in this example, is centred on the device using positioning pins and positioned on contour blocks/NC blocks. The component is then fixed using mechanical fasteners. The next step involves conducting the quality control of the component. Distances, gap dimensions and hole diameters are checked with measuring pins and mandrels.
