The MISUMI corporate concept consists of the highest quality, low costs and short delivery times. MISUMI has recently introduced an innovative automation solution in order to be able to carry out the increasing number of orders even faster in the future. In cooperation with SSI Schäfer, we were able to successfully expand our distribution center.

Thanks to the new software, we were able to speed up individual processes and coordinate them more easily. The new workstations ensure healthy and efficient work processes for our employees and a new storage system allows us to increase capacity by effectively exploiting the available space.

Another advantage of our new system is the new cross-docking principle – make-to-order components that were first manufactured abroad can be shipped to the customer on the same day after arrival without having to be re-stored. In addition to the shorter delivery time, this also has the advantage of saving additional capacities that can be used for other items.
