Toggle Clamps
MISUMI has reviewed its range of toggle clamps and has been able to reduce the price of these items by 17% on average. All products now comply with RoHS directive. Moreover, five new models have been introduced in the range.
MISUMI clamps: toggle clamps, clamp units and machining jigs
MISUMI offers a wide range of horizontal handle and vertical handle toggle clamps and machining jigs. The range of toggle clamps has been revised. Thereby, the price levels for many products could be significantly reduced. All clamps comply with the RoHS Directive. In addition, five new clamp designs are available.
Clamps I: clamp units
MISUMI clamp units are available in small and large types and have spring clamps in order to work on work pieces with constant force.
Clamps II: toggle clamps
MISUMI toggle clamps are available in numerous forms, such as with hold-down (vertical / horizontal handles) and side push types. Approximately 28 new items were added to the clamp range. Toggle clamps are suitable for inspection, welding, assembly and machining jigs.
Hold-down horizontal handle clamps are available in three versions:
The flat model with standard handle can be selected according to the mounting space requirements with flanged base, side base, or straight base mounting types.
With standard handle high arm types, higher arm positions are possible than with conventional clamps. Thus, it is no longer necessary to lift the clamp for high work positions.
The long handle type prevents fingers from being caught and thus ensures improved operability.
Horizontal handle: These small toggle clamps are suitable for light-duty operations and are particularly suitable when upward movements are limited due to obstacles above.
Hold-down vertical handles:
The standard version is most commonly used in testing and for welding jigs in the automotive and aerospace industries. The >90 ° angle opening of the clamp arm provides enough clearance to remove work pieces when the toggle clamp is in the non-tension position. Depending on the mounting space requirements and form, flange types and straight types can be selected for vertical surfaces.
High arm types allow for higher arm positions. Therefore, it is not necessary to raise clamps for higher working positions.
Two-pronged arm types enable two clamping positions simultaneously and therefore improve usability and save space.
Long arm types are suitable for clamping a work piece over a longer distance.
The side push types are suitable for clamping a work piece from the side and available with various clamping forces, stokes, and mounting options, including compact and lightweight types.
The welded type can be easily assembled and is suitable for various purposes, since clamping arms and handles can be welded at any angle.
