Rollers

Rollers are supporting and guiding elements in conveyor technology and assume essential functions in this area. They are used either as driving rollers (drive rollers) or as driven rollers (rollers). Rollers generally have a cylindrical shape, but can also have an inward or outward curved running surface. Dimensions, materials and geometries are adapted to the circumstances depending on the purpose and location of use as well as load capacity.

In order to best meet the various application areas and load cases, designers need a wide range of different geometries, surface materials and core materials. MISUMI can meet these requirements to a particularly high degree thanks to the Make-to-Order (MTO) concept: No other manufacturer offers rollers with a wide range of configuration options from the standard range. In the online shop, components can be individually configured to suit the requirements of the respective area of application. This eliminates the need to create drawing parts and the complex process for manufacturing the rollers, including order tracking and production. Designers configure the required product in just a few steps, MISUMI does the rest.

Configuration options in our online shop:

Sample application workpiece aligner

In the application shown, a workpiece is positioned in the X and Y direction for further mounting. To do this, the workpiece is first roughly placed on ball rollers and pushed onto the three fixed Rollers. The fine positioning is then carried out by means of diagonal pressure of a pneumatic actuator. This acts via a cylinder piston rod and the Rollers mounted on it in order to position the workpiece precisely.

Stack Lights from

Werma

Stack lights detect machine faults and display them. Detecting malfunctions and displaying them clearly helps to intervene as early as possible and to rectify errors so that the failure can be kept as low as possible. Professional signalling in applications thus ensures greater safety and significantly reduces reaction and waiting times. Thanks to the different signalling levels, employees can react promptly to malfunctions and resolve existing problems more quickly.

WERMA provides intelligently networked signal technology, retrofittable systems and clever Industry 4.0 solutions that make networking easy for companies of all sizes.
