The jig is designed for leakage testing using pressurized air. A workpiece carrier is used to transport the housing to and from the testing area. At the testing area, the workpiece carrier is lifted by a pneumatic mechanism. Consequently, the sealing head is manually driven onto the housing to secure it in place and to cover corresponding vertical holes. In the last step, horizontal holes are sealed by a clamping mechanism.
