The workpiece carrier is compatible with Bosch Rexroth TS2. This special workpiece carrier is used for pre-assembly of a housing cover. This workpiece carrier is designed to be used in several process steps. An exchangeable nest for different types of covers is mounted to the frame and is secured in place using locating pin. The position of the workpiece-nest is elevated slightly to ensure better accessibility of the workpiece. The workpiece-nest allows two different processing angles, i.e. it can be rotated and then secured by an index plunger. The housing cover is clamped manually by two horizontal clamps. Then, a cap, which is carried on a dedicated vertical stand, is mounted onto the tilted surface. The entire workpiece carrier also has two laterally accessible index bushes, which can be accessed while processing of the workpiece carrier to ensure correct positioning.
