What is MISUMI’s Incoterms status? 

We have the policy of “Duty-Unpaid” for the UK, which means we do not pay the duties, taxes and any other expenses, this is the customers responsibility.

Will there be any possible delays importing to the UK?  

MISUMI do not expect any delays on export procedures and shipping goods on time, however additional delays may occur due to the new customs, duties etc in the UK. Please make sure to be aware of such additional procedures and their durations. On further aspects of the procedure, please consult point 4 of the information above.

Who will process customs documentation?  

Each Party is responsible of its authorizations and customs processes itself. Therefore we would like to highlight once again that we take no responsibility on the processing of customs processes and authorizations on the UK’s side. They should be handled by the UK side by themselves or by their brokers.

Do MISUMI need to make changes to our supply movements?   

Between the EU and Ireland, nothing will change, the same rules will apply as they do currently. Since Northern Ireland will also leave the EU with the effect of Brexit, the new rules that are applicable to the UK will apply to the Northern Ireland as well.

What are their requirements from MISUMI regarding product specific documentation?  

According to our current knowledge the UK will adopt the Reach, RoHS and CE-Marking regulations from January 1st, 2021 until December 31st, 2021.
