Your role and responsibilities

As a Product Specialist, you will be responsible for solving product-related, technical inquiries. Become part of our multinational team with around 300 employees from more than 33 different nationalities in Europe. 
 
 Your tasks will focus on the following activities:
 

  • You are the main internal and external contact for all product-related topics. You support our customers in writing, by phone and in team meetings in solving technical questions regarding product application.
  • You process drawing requests and check their feasibility with our suppliers.
  • Your goal is to increase customer satisfaction by handling and reducing product complaints.
  • You observe and analyze market trends and conduct competitive analyses.
  • Continuous improvement is a matter of course for you. Together with other departments, such as Customer Service, Sales and Business Development, you work on process improvements and ensure their implementation. 
  • You will regularly report the progress of your projects and tasks to the Technical Services team leader.

Your profile

  • You have completed a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a similar technical field or have a technical education with relevant work experience. 
  • You have already gained 1-3 years of work experience in a technical field, preferably in mechanical engineering or industrial manufacturing.
  • You have very good MS Office skills (especially Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • You have already gained experience with CAD programs (e.g. SolidWorks).
  • You have strong consulting skills with a high level of service orientation.
  • You bring a proactive way of working and strong analytical skills.
  •  You have excellent written and spoken German and English skills.
