Business Development Specialist (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Business Development Specialist to further establish our AI based on-demand manufacturing service “meviy” successfully in the European market. 
“meviy” is a next generation manufacturing platform that enables companies to receive instant quotes after uploading their 3D CAD data. From upload to finished product, all from a single source.

Your tasks will focus on the following activities:

• Product categorization and portfolio development: You analyze our existing product portfolios and develop strategies for positioning new products within relevant market segments.
• Product development:You initiate new products for development based on customer feedback and market research.
• Competitive analysis: You will conduct regular competitive analysis to identify market trends, prepare reports and make recommendations to adjust our strategies.
• Market research: You will collect and analyze market data to understand the needs of target groups and adjust pricing and product strategies accordingly.
• Collaboration with product and sales teams: You will work closely with the marketing and sales departments to ensure the successful implementation of business development strategies.

• You have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a similar technical field or have completed technical training with relevant professional experience. 
• You have at least 2 years of professional experience in product development or product management, ideally in the mechanical engineering sector or industrial manufacturing.
• You have very good MS Office skills (especially Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
• You have already gained experience with CAD programs (e.g. SolidWorks).
• You have very good analytical skills and a strong understanding of the markets and products.
• You have excellent written and spoken German and English skills.
