Hinges

As a movable joint, hinges connect two levels at an angle. In addition to being used for example in furniture and doors, they also are used in the industrial sector. Hinges are required for all types of machinery and equipment. MISUMI offers an extensive range of standard types, shapes and materials, as desired. These parts are made from 1.4301 (XCrNi18-10) stainless material and are available from MISUMI in different sizes. Depending on the type of hinge, the permissible load is between 88N and 392N; the maximum operating angle is approximately 250°.

The EN AW-6063 (AlMg0,7Si) material of these stainless hinges makes the hinges lightweight and imparts a polished appearance. POM bushings allow for particularly smooth motions, almost free of play. The aluminium hinges from MISUMI are available in different sizes; the permissible load, depending on the type of hinge, ranges from 98N and 147N.

This type of hinge can be used in applications where the lid of a container should be kept in a certain position without additional components being used. Depending on the application, customers can choose between a fixed or individually adjustable torque. The nominal torque is between 0.35Nm ~ 1.5Nm depending on the model. Stainless steel hinge versions are available.

These hinges are offered with an integrated damper function. They are installed if, for example, covers or doors must be closed slowly and gently in one direction. With adjustable damper hinges in HHPR models, the mounting position can be varied in a few simple steps. The maximum operating angle is 120°; the back torque is 00:49Nm ~ 1.27 Nm, depending on the model.
