MISUMI locating bushes are manufactured with modern technology of the highest quality.

There are multiple options for dimensions and shape meaning the bushes can be accurately configured according to your requirements. Using MISUMI is faster and cheaper compared to conventional manufacturing that is in-house or contracted out. The need for component drawings and production planning is eliminated completely.

Optimise your processes by using standardised components according to the DIN standard. We now offer you drill bushes according to the DIN172 (type A) and DIN179 (type A) standards. DIN standards not only create efficiencies in terms of time and uniformity, but they also help you generate cost savings.

As with all MISUMI products, our locating bushes are manufactured to the highest quality assurance standards. MISUMI processes orders within Germany for as small as 1 product without shipping costs, small quantity surcharge, or a minimum product or order value.

Application area for locating bushings

Locating bushes are characterised by a greater versatility, which extends beyond their eponymous applications. Whether in mechanical engineering, vehicle construction or various other industrial branches, locating bushes are used in a variety of constructions and are appreciated by engineers worldwide. While a bushing describes a pipe, which can accommodate custom-fit counter pieces, the locating bushes are used to guide the drill into drilling devices. A drilling devices enables a quick drilling of components, without the need for the individual component to always be individually measured or marked again. Compared to drilling without a drilling device, the workflow is enormously simplified. With the help of locating bushes, a true to dimension pattern of drilling is guaranteed and a possible deviation of the drill is prevented.

MISUMI locating bushes are characterised by the following features

  • Simple and reliable installation process
  • Mountable in different support materials
  • Can be used with thin-walled parts and blind holes, for example
  • Resistant to corrosion
  • Low wear
  • Manufactured hardened
  • Sanded to produce high tolerance

The locating bushes are available in the following versions

  • Standard or thin-walled
