Cancellations
General Cancellation Policy
Cancellations are generally possible free of charge within 2 hours of the order confirmation (OC) being sent and during our business hours (Monday–Thursday: 8 a.m.–4 p.m. CET and Friday: 8 a.m.–3 p.m. CET).
To cancel an order, please use our MyMISUMI Help Center or send a written cancellation request by email. Cancellation requests received more than 2 hours after the order confirmation (OC) has been sent must be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. There is no guarantee that the cancellation will be accepted.
Exception for stock items
Stock items can be cancelled in writing up to two days before the scheduled shipping date, during our business hours (Monday – Thursday: 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. CET and Friday: 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. CET), provided that the shipment is made from the MISUMI warehouse in Frankfurt and the goods have not been reordered by us.
In order to enable prompt deliveries for our customers, the production of our products is planned dynamically when orders are placed. Production often begins just a few hours after an order is placed. Even if you have ordered your product for a later delivery date, production may already begin immediately due to production-related factors.
In order to ensure smooth and fast processing of your orders, your parcels may be prepared before the scheduled shipping date. This allows us to shorten throughput times and ensure efficient logistics for your long-term success.
This situation-based, dynamic planning enables us to ship your order quickly.
Exceptions for special orders
The following are excluded from the above general cancellation conditions:
- Big orders: Orders whose quantity exceeds the maximum quantities specified in the catalogue or online catalogue.
- Stock item exceedances: Orders where the desired quantity exceeds the maximum stock quantity of the respective item at MISUMI in Frankfurt.
- VONA items: Items from third-party manufacturers, e.g. Mahler, norelem, etc.
- meviy items: Items ordered via our meviy configuration service.
- Express orders: Orders placed using the ‘Express Shipping’ option.
Cancellation is generally not possible for these orders.
Returns
Returning delivered products
The return of ordered products is generally excluded.
Exception for stock items
Returns are only possible after prior consultation with MISUMI customer service and with their express consent, and only if the goods were shipped from the MISUMI warehouse in Frankfurt and the goods were not reordered by us. For stock items that have been returned after confirmation by our customer service department, we charge a restocking fee of 20% of the purchase price. The customer also bears all costs for returning the products.
Please note: All returns that are not expressly mentioned in the above exception cannot be accepted. If you have any questions or special cases, please contact customer service.
