Housed bearing elements

Housed bearings are made from roller bearing and the corresponding housing unit which are optimally matched for storage, sealing and lubrication. Housed bearings are available as pedestal bearings, flange and tension in many different versions. Housed bearings are especially easy to install and offer the technician a great deal of freedom in designing the bearing since there are many housed bearing units to choose from.

The housed bearings with casing made from chemically nickel-plated or burnished steel are particularly suitable for (highly) precise use free from play.

The cast housing versions are suited to more flexible use, which gives the bearing appropriate clearance.

You can choose between one- and two-part housed bearings, with the former being able to withstand less load. MISUMI offers one-part housed bearings as well as others with a captured outer ring for use under high loads at high speed. Angular housed bearings are highly suited to large loads with radial and axial strain components, which are also available in many versions.

Field of application for housed bearings

Housed bearings are being used in a variety of industry fields. Due to their construction type and functionality, they appeal as the perfect bearing solution, particularly for industrial branches as extraction technology, agricultural engineering and packaging machinery. All single components of MISUMI’s housed bearings are individually configurable and, therefore, suitable for every field of application. For example, you can select the shape of the base body from the following versions:

Furthermore, you can specify the bearing part of the housed bearings. You may choose between deep groove ball bearings, needle roller bearings, thrust bearings and angular contact ball bearings.
